Where Can I Get A Bonita Springs Beach Parking Permit?
You may be a snowbird or year-round resident of Bonita Springs who has decided it is time to head to the beach for some fun, so now the real question is: where do I get a Bonita Springs beach parking permit, so I can save some cash?
Parking is run by Lee County and you can get most information at this link: Bonita Springs beach parking permits
Some quick notes before you leave my site:
There is no longer parking offered at Bonita Springs Park, so you will need to pay by the hour unless you purchased your permit before December 1, 2010.
If you are looking for free parking at Bonita Beach, there are free spaces along Hickory Blvd. starting at Bonita Beach Access 2 through 9, although parking is limited especially during season.
As of February 4, 2011, it is $60 Per Year for a parking permit.
You can order the parking stickers/passes online or buy them at locations outside of Bonita Springs at Terry Park, Estero Recreation Center, Veterans Park Recreation Center, Wa-Ke Hatchee Recreation Center, or Matlacha Community Center.
With the pass, you get access to tons of places throughout Lee County including: Bonita Beach Access 1, Bonita Beach Access 10 (Little Hickory Island Beach Park), Imperial River Boat Ramp, Bowditch Point Regional Park, Punta Rassa Boat Ramp, Bowman’s Beach, Turner Beach, Alva Boat Ramp, Matlacha Boat Ramp, Lakes Regional Park, Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve, Manatee Park, Davis Boat Ramp, Hickey’s Creek Mitigation Park, Caloosahatchee Regional Park, Pine Island Commercial Marina (with some exceptions), Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve, San Carlos Bay/Bunche Beach Preserve.
